I'm from a suburb of Chicago called Cary, IL. I lived there my whole life until going to college at WMU in Kalamazoo, MI. Although I'm from Illinois, I'm a huge Wisconsin sports fan. I absolutely love the Packers, Brewers and Bucks (I have UP ties). If you do too, we'll get along. My love for sports is the reason why I'm pursuing coaching either baseball or football. In the classroom, I use sports to teach about variuos topics like teamwork, leadership, inclusiveness and competition. I'm passionate about teaching English because of the lessons that come through all kinds of literature. One can learn so much about themselves through English, which is what I try to help my students do every day, learn about themselves.
